insurance/we are striving to offer direct billing to as many patients as possible.  currently, we are registered to offer direct billing for the following insurance providers: Pacific Blue Cross, Great West, Manulife and Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan
not available/direct billing to WCB and ICBC will not be available.  we are still able to offer treatment but the patient is expected to cover the cost of the visit upfront and it is their responsibility to seek reimbursement.

new patients and referrals/in order to ensure availability for existing patients, new patient intake is limited.  Opening the schedule to new patients is based on demand and availability. please fill out our very brief Availability Form and we will contact you when appointments are available.  please note, we are not accepting new patients into the evening schedule at this time.

what to expect

arrival/the studio is a small space with no waiting room.  please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time (10 minutes for initial visit).  arrive alone (no children or guests) and wearing a mask.
covid procedure/when you arrive we will begin your visit with Covid-19 Health Screening and Sanitization. 
paperwork/you will then be asked to (digitally) fill out our Intake and Consent to Treatment forms - tip: these will be emailed to you upon booking your first appointment.  fill them out before arrival to allow for more hands on time!
payment/payment will occasionally be taken following treatment, but in general it is collected before you are on the table.
interview & assessment/next we will spend some time discussing your health history and areas of concern during a brief interview, followed by appropriate assessment.  this is a great time to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding treatment and outcomes.  interview and assessment are a part of every visit, though they are usually less time consuming in subsequent visits.
treatment/now the fun part!  your only responsibility when on the table is to focus on staying relaxed and provide feedback when necessary.  what you choose to wear on the table is completely up to you - you will remain professionally draped throughout the entire treatment so just focus on being comfortable.
home care/following treatment your therapist will make recommendations based on your goals and the treatment your received.
until next time/in order to limit patient interaction and possible covid exposure, we ask that patients leave promptly following their treatment.

policies

cancellations/no longer need the appointment you booked?  No problem!  cancellations may be made by logging in to your patient account or emailing us here.
notice/we require 24 hours notice to cancel or change any appointments.  failure to provide adequate notice will result in a late cancellation/missed appointment fee.  The fee is the total price of the service you were scheduled for.  if you provide less than 24 hours notice to cancel the appointment but we are able to fill the time slot from our cancellation list, your late notice fee will be completely waived.  we have an extensive wait-list and will not charge for time that has been filled.
male patients/male patients are required to provide a referral, either from an existing patient or fellow medical professional.
